- Determination of mutation spectrums of tumor suppressor genes (BRCA1, BRCA2, TP53, PTEN, LKB1/STK11, HMLH1, MLH1 in breast cancer, ovarian cancer, colorectal cancers in the Swedish population(1996-2001)
- Positional cloning of kidney cancer-related genes NORE1, LSAMP, and HTPT2 (2001-2003)
- Involvement in development of HRPT2 conditional knockout mouse model (2004-2009)
- Development of five BHD gene conditional knockout mouse models and mouse BHD-null tumor cell lines(2003-2010):
- Kidney cancer allograft/xenograft mouse models (2007-2010)

In 2019, our Exploring Health LLC.team led by me, joined the 2019 “Innovation of Guangdong” for biomedicine which was held at Guangzhou Bank Building, Guangzhou, China. There were 28 companies from Guangdong province participated in the competition, and the process was highly competitive. Our program entitled "Identification of anti-metastasis lead compounds via high-throughput screening and validation system" was highly recognized by the commettee. Finally we won the winning prize. Thenafter, we were awarded three times.
